BG men claim win at Norfolk State

NORFOLK, Va. – The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team used a hot shooting night to claim a 90-77 victory over Norfolk State Saturday.

The Falcons made 50.8 percent of their shots from the floor (30-of-59), including 14-of-25 3-pointer (56.0 percent), while connecting on 18-of-21 free throws (85.7 percent) to improve to 7-2 on the season.

BG’s Dylan Frye scored a career-high 28 points by making 9-of-13 field goals and 5-of-7 3’s. Anthony Wayne product Matt Fox tied his career high with 18 points, thanks to 4-of-6 shooting from behind the arc, while Springfield High School graduate Demajeo Wiggins also had 18 and Justin Turner added 16.
