BOWLING GREEN — For the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team, success takes the whole group. Players one through five are expected to contribute at all times on the court.
That approach has produced big individual performances, with six different players finishing as the leading scorer through 14 games.
“For our team, it takes a village,” BGSU head coach Fred Chmiel said. “We don’t have a standout star, but we have great contributions from individual people… defensively, we work as a unit. Offensively, we work as a unit.”
“We do multiple-action sets, we do continuity offenses.
