The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team hit five three-point field goals in the first quarter alone, taking an early lead and seizing control of Wednesday's (Dec. 6) game against Xavier University. The Falcons moved to 7-1 on the season with a 63-53 win over the Musketeers before a large and raucous Kids Day crowd.
A total of 4,130 fans attended the game, the largest for a BGSU women's basketball game in Stroh Center history and the second-largest home attendance in BGSU women's basketball annals.
The game was not as close as the final score might indicate.
