BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving team returns to action this weekend at the 2017 Zippy Invitational in Akron, Ohio. The meet will take place across three days from Dec. 1-3, 2017 at the Ocasek Natatorium. The Falcons will be one of nine women's teams at the event. The list of participating teams includes Akron, Buffalo and Toledo from the Mid-American Conference, as well as Bloomsburg, Clarion, Niagara, Oakland, and St. Bonaventure.
Bowling Green last competed at the Zippy Invitational during the 2015-16 season. The team finished third among eight teams with 1,658 points, just five points behind second-place Oakland.
