Youth team forward Jayden Major is keen to put his foot on the gas and enjoy a successful season in front of goal for Tony Philliskirk’s side.
The former Liverpool man netted two goals in the U18s opening pre-season fixture on the weekend against AFC Bournemouth at St George’s Park in a 3-0 win.
Major is heading into his second season as scholar with the Clarets, however, the forward admits he didn’t play and perform as much as he had liked to last season.
“I am so happy to have started off pre-season with a couple of goals and a win.
