On the last pod, other than the part where we can’t watch a fun WBC exhibition between Team Italy and the Cubs (but for some reason could watch the Reds broadcast of the destruction yesterday on Marquee), we did ponder the way the edges of the roster would shape out, so I suppose we can quickly revisit this before first cuts. The thing is that, as we discussed on the pod, most of the roster is spoken for, so we’re really once again talking about a couple of bullpen spots and a bench spot or two max, pending any health concerns as Cactus League play rolls along and whatever might befall the Cubs players participating in WBC.
