D.C. United seemed set to suffer another defeat at the hands of the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena, until an old friend showed up once again in stoppage time. A late own goal from Michael Murillo stunned the Red Bulls, who were all set to celebrate another win over United, as the teams settled for a 3-3 draw on Wednesday night.
Tyler Adams scored twice for the Red Bulls, giving New York an early lead in the second half. A deflected free kick from Zoltan Stieber left the teams tied at the break.
