Entering Week 10, there were a few teams that were poised to separate themselves from the pack to become the cream of the crop in Major League Soccer. It's at this point of the season where a few teams realize that if they want to be considered the best in MLS, they have to go out and make a statement. They either beat a team that is also among the top squads, or they pummel one of the bottom feeders or mid-table opponent.
