MLS unveiled its award finalists. And the winners are …

MLS on Tuesday announced the finalists for individual awards, ranging from humanitarian of the year to most valuable player. Serious debate is warranted in almost every category. Finalists were determined through balloting by players, head coaches, technical directors, team public relations representatives, team business officers and select media members.

Here’s a look at the major honors, the dates they’ll be announced and how the outcome might look:

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

(Nov. 10)

New York City FC forward Jack Harrison

Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris

Philadelphia Union defender Keegan Rosenberry

Who will win: Morris’s 12 goals were the second most by a rookie behind Cyle Larin’s 17 at Orlando last year.
