The U.S. women’s national team has known since Friday’s qualifying victory over Trinidad and Tobago that it’s going to Brazil for the Olympics, and now it knows when and where it will learn the group venues and opponents. FIFA announced Tuesday that it will conduct the draw for the men’s and women’s competitions on the morning of April 14 at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Sixteen men’s teams will be drawn into four groups and 12 women’s teams into three. Although the Summer Games are in Rio, soccer matches — as they are in every Olympics — will be played in several cities: Rio, Manaus, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia and Sao Paulo.
