Whitworth Named Top Tackle in Pass Block Efficiency Through Week 4

After allowing zero quarterback pressures in Week 4’s contest against the Cowboys, left tackle Andrew Whitworth was named the top pass block protector at the tackle position by Pro Football Focus. The site gave him a near perfect 99.2 pass block efficiency rating, with an overall grade of 83.6.

Over the offseason, head coach Sean McVay along with general manager Les Snead made a concentrated effort to boost the Rams offensive line after quarterback Jared Goff was sacked a league-high 26 times in seven games.
