Eastern Michigan used a strong second half to pull away from Bowling Green for an 86-76 Mid-American Conference women’s basketball victory Tuesday night at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. The Eagles outscored the Falcons 49-37 after halftime and closed the game with a 30-point fourth quarter to improve to 7-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Fernanda Ovalle led Eastern Michigan with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Peyton Hill added 22 points and Sisi Eleko finished with 20 points. Ainhoa Cea contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists as the Eagles shot 47.
