Opportunity Over Comfort

For Luca Di Pasquo, the decision didn’t come lightly.

After three years at Michigan State, East Lansing felt like home. It was the place where friendships were forged, routines became second nature, and the idea of a college career took real shape. Walking away from that isn’t something players dream about when they first arrive on campus.

But in today’s college hockey landscape, comfort alone isn’t always enough.

“It was tough,” Di Pasquo admitted. “You’re at a spot for three years, you really like it, you make best friends, and you kind of build a home.
