Injury-plagued Griz lose Conley for 3-4 weeks

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley will miss at least three to four weeks because of an Achilles injury.

The injury-plagued Grizzlies announced Saturday that Conley, who has missed Memphis' last three games, has been diagnosed with left Achillies tendinitis.

The Grizzlies, who are hoping to secure a Western Conference playoff spot, said Conley was examined Friday and will be re-evaluated in three to four weeks. Memphis' regular-season finale is April 13.

Despite the injuries to Conley and several other prominent players, the Grizzlies (39-26) have won nine of their last 13 games and are fifth in the conference standings entering Saturday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks.
