Damian Lillard has blocked out the noise and proved his doubters wrong, all while keeping Portland in the playoff race.
As the 2015-2016 season approached, the expectations for the Portland Trail Blazers were very bleak. After losing four out of five starters, many basketball experts projected Portland to be a bottom dweller in the west with their eyes set on the rebuilding process. However, as much as these experts expected Damian Lillard to deteriorate statistically while the Blazers plummeted, they forgot how much Lillard loves being counted out.
Coming out of Weber State, Lillard caught a lot of people by surprise when his name began rising up the lottery.
