LUBBOCK, TEXAS – NM State made its 2026 debut at the Corky Classic, hosted by Texas Tech. At the two-day meet in Lubbock, a multitude of Aggies made their indoor track & field debut, while a strong group of returners led the way over the weekend.

Most recently competing in the discus at the NCAA Outdoor West Regional in late May, senior Alesha Lane began the indoor season in the weight throw, tossing a new personal best mark of 19.25 meters (63-2") on her first attempt. This would advance Lane to the finals, where she finished third overall.
