One of the more under-the-radar moves the New York Giants made this offseason was re-signing LB Micah McFadden to a one-year extension. McFadden fielded external interest from several other teams, but the Giants' ability to retain him was crucial, especially after the release of Bobby Okereke.
When a player could've easily cashed in on a multi-year deal elsewhere, it's telling that he chose to ink a one-year, prove-it deal to stay in New York. Not only is he betting on himself, but he's betting on John Harbaugh and this new coaching staff to turn one of the NFL's most illustrious franchises around.
