NC State demolished SMU 91–54 yesterday in Reynolds Coliseum, improving to 12–5 overall and 5–1 in ACC play. The Wolfpack entered the game as a 29.5-point favorite and more than covered the spread.
NC State produced its second-best shooting performance of the season, connecting on 54.5% of its shots while holding the Mustangs to just 32.3%.
All 10 Wolfpack players scored in the victory, with junior guard Qadence Samuels leading the way with a season-high 16 points, the second-highest scoring output of her collegiate career. Samuels previously scored 18 points against Ryerson on December 20, 2023, while at UConn.
