According to reports, Texas State transfer defensive tackle Devarrick Woods (6’3″/290) is taking an official visit to NC State today.
Woods recorded 16 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack this season for the Bobcats.
He spent his first two collegiate seasons in the junior college ranks at Hinds Community College. As a freshman, Woods totaled 23 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. In his sophomore season, he posted 43 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, and three pass breakups.
Woods has 1 year of eligibility remaining.
NC State also has Marshall defensive tackle KaTron Evans on campus for an official visit today as well.
