The Ohio State football team came into Saturday's game with a ton of confidence that they would be able to take down the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue had yet to win a Big Ten game and looked like the worst team in the conference for most of the season.
Still, the Buckeyes came out a bit sluggish. They had an early deficit, being down 3-0 after one quarter. Those three points would be the only ones the Boilermakers would score until garbage time, as the Ohio State Buckeyes won the game 34-10 in what was a stress-free victory.
Ohio State won this game despite being down two starters on offense.
