A new ranking and a new entrant for Penn State.
After a shutout victory over Rutgers, the Nittany Lions saw a multitude of movement in the most recent InterMat rankings.
Marcus Blaze jumped one spot to No. 4 at 133 pounds, surpassing his next opponent, Drake Ayala of Iowa, who dropped to No. 8 after losing to Wisconsin's Zan Fugitt.
At 141 pounds, Braeden Davis entered the rankings, debuting at No. 7 after wrestling against Rutgers on Saturday in place of the injured Aaron Nagao. He is listed at 5-0, despite wrestling unattached at the Kauffman Open, and will likely be the starter the rest of the season after burning his redshirt.
