The 76ers' center Joel Embiid was downgraded to questionable for Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Wells Fargo Center because of a left knee bruise. Meanwhile, Dario Saric (right shin bruise) and Nerlens Noel (left ankle sprain) are listed as probable.
Embiid and Saric suffered their injuries while bumping legs at the end of Thursday’s practice. At the time, both were listed as probable for the Lakers' game. However, Embiid did not participate in Friday morning’s shootaround.
The 7-foot-2, 275-pounder will be evaluated and treated during pregame.
Noel suffered his injury in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
