Former Phillies and Angels pitcher Hans Crouse has an agreement on a minor-league deal with the Baltimore Orioles, a source told Phillies Nation on Thursday. He’ll be a non-roster invitee to spring training.
The right-hander was acquired by the Phillies in 2021 when the team flipped former top prospect Spencer Howard and two minor leaguers for closer Ian Kennedy and starter Kyle Gibson. Crouse was also sent to the Phillies in the trade and made two big-league starts later that season.
Crouse spent the next two seasons in the minor leagues for Philadelphia before signing with the Angels for the 2024 season.
