SACRAMENTO – Igor Kokoskov is winding down his first, and perhaps last, season as head coach of the Phoenix Suns.
They hired Kokoskov, who was an assistant with the Suns the last time they made the playoffs in 2010, to help the franchise bounce back from posting the NBA's worst record last season at 21-61.
With nine games left, Phoenix (17-56), instead, is having one of its worst seasons ever, but Kokoskov says he’s focused on the present, not the future.
“I don’t have no concerns,” Kokoskov said Saturday morning before the Suns played at Sacramento.
