NEW ORLEANS – Phoenix felt it should’ve beaten New Orleans the last time.
So when the Suns came to Smoothie King Center, it didn’t matter this was the second of a back-to-back.
Didn’t matter they were 0-2 against the Pelicans this season and weren’t going to have Tyler Johnson and Richaun Holmes
Didn’t matter they were coming off a tough loss at Houston and without Deandre Ayton in the fourth quarter.
Didn’t even matter they blew a 13-point, second-half lead. The Suns were going to get this one.
Devin Booker scored a game-high 40 points and Kelly Oubre added 32 in his return to his hometown in leading Phoenix to a 138-136 overtime win Saturday night.
