Last week the Timbers became just the third team to visit Houston and come away with points in 2017. While ultimately the draw was disappointing after leading for much of the game, it’s still a very good point, and the Timbers will happily take it back to Portland. With almost a full-strength lineup (just missing a LB), the Timbers held possession and generally created good chances on the way to two goals, one from Valeri and one from Blanco. Unfortunately, each time PTFC scored, Houston answered, ending the game at 2-2.
