RSL get back on track, win in KC 3-1

The match started off with both teams being clearly motivated and the speed of play was intense. Sporting KC and RSL were back and forth for much of the time exchanging chances and making big defensive stops. RSL's sharpness was as good as it has been all year long. The game was going to be determined by which team wanted it more and took advantage of their few chances. Salt Lake got on the board first off of a poor giveaway from Matt Besler and some subsequent nice passing that gave Juan Manuel Martinez a goal. Kansas City tried to pull one back a couple minutes later with Benny Feilhaber taking one from distance but Nick Rimando put an end to his thought of possibly tying things up.
