According to a post on Reddit and an electronic billboard in Lindon, Real Salt Lake may be set to host Serie A side Inter Mila in a midseason friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium this summer.
While this is obviously not enough to officially confirm the match is happening, it certainly does seem to be pointing toward something. Inter, who finished 4th place in this year's Serie A campaign, would certainly be considered a step up in opposition compared to some of the more recent friendlies RSL have played.
The club did confirm last week that an announcement regarding a friendly was coming sometime this week, though no details were given regarding the opponent or the date.
