Although he is champion number 98, it feels like Darius has been in League of Legends forever, being released all the way back in May 2012. Darius, alongside Garen, has long since represented the ‘big, tough guy with an even bigger weapon’ archetype suited for top lane, but there’s more to him than meets the eye.
Now representing the Noxus region in both League of Legends and 2XKO, it’s fair to say that Darius is one of the first champions people think of when this region is mentioned.
