When Brent Pry was the head football coach at Virginia Tech, he was in the mix for some of the nation's top recruits. One of those recruits was four-star safety Faheem Delane. There was a tie to Virginia Tech during his recruitment, with his older brother Mansoor playing for the Hokies.
Along with Virginia Tech, Oregon, Maryland, Ohio State, LSU, Colorado, and others were heavily in on Faheem. he ended up committing to the Buckeyes, which wasn't surprising. On Saturday, he announced that he intends to enter the Transfer Portal after just one season in Columbus.
